Dr Pedro Diaz is a Specialist Anaesthetist with additional expertise in Ultrasound Guided Regional Anaesthesia and the use of nerve infusion catheters for post-operative and ambulatory analgesia.
Pedro grew up in Newcastle and completed his medical degree at the University of Newcastle. He completed his specialist anaesthetic training in Adelaide, South Australia where he was awarded the prestigious ANZCA Renton Prize. He undertook further sub-specialist training as a Fellow in Regional Anaesthesia at Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide.
Pedro is a Staff Specialist at the John Hunter Hospital and holds VMO appointments at all private hospitals in the Newcastle & Hunter Region.
